After 50-Foot Plunge, Driver Survives With Mild Injuries

According to the early morning news, there was an accident involving a pickup truck on Rancho California Road yesterday.

The California Highway Patrol found the driver unconscious but alive sometime after 1:30 pm after being thrown off the road down to a 50-foot embankment while still inside of his truck.

According to local witnesses, the truck crashed off the road just west of Ridge Park Drive. The official reports from the California Highway Patrol show that three fire engines, 15 firefighters and a truck company were needed to conduct the “rope rescue” to take the damaged truck from the 50-foot embankment. The man was taken to the hospital and according to the news he sustained minor injuries.

Details regarding the causes of the accident weren’t released but we understand that the authorities might need some more time to uncover the circumstances revolving around the accident.

As a Los Angeles car accident lawyer I hope the driver will have a fast recovery without any major delays. Personal injury lawyers are awfully familiar with cases of accidents that unfortunately turn out to be tragic.
